Epos, a bistrot owned by the wine company Poggio Le Volpi, is the ideal destination for those looking for a sheltered moment to relax in the name of taste and elegance. Epos overlooks patron Felice Mergé, , and offers a wonderful panorama over his vineyards; it occupies the two upper floors of the elegant country chic building, above the barrel oak cellar, where Barrique Space Event can be found, the family’s pride and joy.

Born in 1977, our chef learned the ropes working with real master chefs like Fulvio Perangelini, Robert Niederkofler, Michel Sarran and Nacho Manzano, who quenched the thirst for knowledge that has been a driving force throughout Crisci’s life.

Poggio Le Volpi

On a hill pointing eastward, about 400 metres above sea level –in 1996- Armando Mergé and his son Felice, came up with the brilliant idea of starting up their own wine company, Poggio Le Volpi. Thirty-five hectares of volcanic land in the heart of the Castelli Romani, in Monte Porzio Catone, a few miles away from the Capital City.
